DALLAS – August 17, 2015 – Vogel Alcove’s young professionals organization (YPO), Flight YPO, invites members of the Dallas/Fort Worth community to solve clues, tackle puzzles, and compete for prizes at the second annual Flight for the Alcove urban race on September 19. The race will take place from 9 a.m. until noon in the Dallas Arts District, and through physical and mental challenges, participants will learn about Vogel Alcove and how Flight YPO is moving the mission. Proceeds will benefit Vogel Alcove, an organization providing free, quality early childhood development services for Dallas’ youngest victims of poverty: homeless children six weeks to 12 years old.
Registration is $80 for teams of two, $114 for teams of three, and $140 for teams of four. The deadline to register is September 17, and Flight YPO is offering special early bird pricing of $70, $99, and $120, respectively, for teams registering before August 23. To access the coupon codes, visit the Flight for the Alcove website. To register for the race, click here.
“The race was such a fun way to learn more about downtown and the places that make Dallas unique,” Vogel Alcove Board Member John Ofenloch said of last year’s race. “Our team had a blast, the event was well organized, and it was a great way to give back to Vogel Alcove.”
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for this event. If interested, please contact Kathrine Brody at Kathrine@pharrpr.com.
“Our members are passionate about serving their community, and Flight for the Alcove is a wonderful way to bring awareness to Vogel Alcove’s mission and help raise funds that will benefit homeless children,” said Flight YPO President Chad Bruce. “We hope to see even more teams test their skills in this year’s race. Be sure to register today!”
